Presentation of the course "Fabric Culture" offered from 2013 until 2015 as part of the Contemporary Fashion Culture Cycle from Rio Fashion Institute, Rio de Janeiro. In this class, fabric is presented as the main word for fashion creation. Students are stimulated to think about the different elements in fabrics like color, texture, composition, weight, fitting, through the past and the future of clothing. New ways of textile creation and manipulation are presented to stimulate the interaction and intervention of designers on their raw material.
